Course Description
This masterclass provides a definition of the role of a Senior Responsible Owner within a Programme delivery environment. The masterclass will introduce participants to the role and provide an understanding of what needs to be achieved in fulfilling this role. Documentation for the session will be provided as part of the course. It can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the organisation.

Performance Based Objectives
To provide delegates with:
- An understanding of the role of an SRO within a Programme environment
- An appreciation of what is expected of an SRO
- An understanding of the responsibilities of key roles within a programme/project environment to support the SRO
- A familiarity with the concept of Programme Reviews and how they can support the SRO achieving success in Programme Delivery
By the end of the session delegates should be able to:
- Define their role as an SRO
- Identify the seven areas of accountability in relation to the role
- Identify the appropriate Programme structure to support effective delivery
- Demonstrate the value of having an appropriate review process in place e.g. Gateway Reviews
