Course Description

This two day workshop has been designed to enable who choose to attend the opportunity to explore and reflect on their personal styles, behaviours and capabilities, and the outcomes they have, particularly in the work environment.

Focus for the two days will be on the many aspects of who they are, using questionnaires and other self-assessment tools, and taking time to discuss and consider how they can best manage themselves to get optimal results.

The workshop will be an interactive experience, with time for self-reflection, discussions, challenging concepts and sharing best practice.

    • Creating a vision board for future career aspirations
  • Learning Styles – how do I learn and what does that mean for my development?
    • Introduction to various learning style models
    • Identifying individual learning preferences
    • Developing strategies to maximise learning effectiveness in various situations
  • Dealing with challenging situations - Tools and techniques to use when dealing with difficult situations
    • Identifying common workplace challenges (e.g., conflicts, difficult conversations, change management)
    • Introduction to problem-solving frameworks and conflict resolution techniques
    • Role-playing exercises to practice handling challenging scenarios
  • Personal actions and commitments based on the two day workshop
    • Reflecting on key learnings and insights gained
    • Developing a personalised action plan for implementing new skills and behaviours
