Course Description

This training course is designed for WebSphere v5 administrators who want to learn the new v6 features. Learn how to install and configure WAS V6, as well as deploy applications and migrate existing V5 infrastructure. This course also teaches the mechanisms of how to tune the performance of deployed applications.

This course is designed for System Administrators who are very much familiar with WebSphere Application Server V5 Network Deployment Edition. This course will be a quick way to learn the differences in WebSphere v6.

Prerequisites:

Prior experience with WebSphere Application Server v5 is necessary. This course does not cover basic concepts that have not changed from v5.
