Course Description

Are you a data management practitioner, an IT or IS manager, or a business manager? Would you like to learn the skills and techniques to be able to implement an industry standard, best practice approach to data management? If the answer to those questions is ‘yes,’ then our course on Data Management Essentials is perfect for you.

During the course, you will look at the development of procedures for managing corporate data and what’s required for the administration of data and database administration. You’ll also look at data and enterprise, data quality, and current data management themes—and you’ll learn all this through short, focused lecture sessions, in which we’ll encourage you to share problems and issues you may have faced.

Business analysts, solution developers, project managers, and anyone who is involved in managing corporate data or is responsible for database administration. Data Management Essentials is a Specialist Practitioner module on the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.

Exam

During this four-day course, you’ll receive all the training you need to prepare for the BCS Data Management Essentials certificate exam, which is held on the final afternoon of the course. A pass in this module will contribute to the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis.
